The Property Register

Under normal circumstances the stock owner is able to provide an address list of all properties giving for each address:

Property address, with post-code

bullet

The Properties UPRN (Unique Property Reference Number)

bullet

Property Type (House, Bungalow, Flat, Maisonette, detachment)

bullet

Property Age (where known)

bullet

Number of bedrooms (where known)

bullet

Any existing property type classification, MRA Archetypes etc.

bullet

floor level of flats & maisonettes

bullet

Construction type (where known)

bullet

heating system and fuel type (where known)

This listing is normally available in appropriate computer format - E.g. MS Excel, ASCII delimited, DIF,

Where the survey is to be based on a sample we point out that accuracy of extrapolated data records can be optimised through verifying with known facts from existing records.

Client Liaison

Surveys are normally carried out in close consultation with the appropriate Officers, as required. This would include periodic consultation and meetings, at the stock owners offices to:-

Discuss and agree Survey process, access arrangements and procedures

Surveyor training, procedures and processes

Discuss and agree Computer data formats,

Discuss and agree NBA's proposed schedule of rates
